This year our shelter is asking for funding to help our much needed activity area for our dogs. We have a safe area where they can be off leash with our staff and volunteers and enjoy being a dog. This area has taken some wear and tare over the years from the thousands of dogs who have played in it and been out in the elements. Currently our fencing has holes in it where we have had to use boards and zip ties to hold it up, which makes it a little more nerve racking for the dogs to have their freedom and play fetch and socialize with the other pooches. The large gate we use to access it has also fallen making it where we cannot open that door. We are hoping for at least 10,000 to update it so our furrbabies have a safe place to play.
